D. H. Jones Art

About

Dennis Harrison Jones was born a lifelong artist in 1982.  He currently lives just outside his hometown in Ohio with his son, dog and two cats.  D. H. Jones Art is his newest project, broadening the horizons of charcoal and pastel.  In 2009, Dennis debuted as a portrait artist in Seattle, Washington as The Darkness in White Collection:  Portraits by Rev. D. Harrison.  In 2012, he began a lifestyle experiment living in a tipi.  After moving back to his hometown in Ohio in 2017, he wrote a book about the experience entitled “The Tipi Project:  A Portrait of American Life in this Late Age.”  With the debut of D. H. Jones Art, Dennis re-ignites his passion for charcoal and pastel portraiture, a new chapter in a lifelong story of artistry.
